The Saddledome Series. The energy that refuses to fade.

This piece was created for the Calgary Stampede 2026 Western Art Gallery. Well I usually do smaller pieces for that venue I decided to go big and this piece was the result. I am just waiting for someone who loves the Saddle Dome and wants to display it because it was such an iconic building and really key to our downtown Skyline. I don’t believe I will be painting this Skyline once the Saddle Dome is gone as the new building will not be as aesthetically appealing . So there is that, as well as all the memories that that building has held for so many calgarians . It was an honor to paint it.
